General Contractor Apprentice

Raise opportunities after 90 days if exhibiting growth and skills milestones *Job Overview* As an apprentice, you’ll support our lead contractor on a wide range of residential projects. No two days are the same—you’ll learn skills in carpentry, drywall, painting, light plumbing, and electrical while helping to keep job sites running smoothly. We’ll provide training and mentorship, but you should bring a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn. *Who this job is perfect for* * You take pride in doing work right the first time * You prefer clean, organized job sites and vehicles * You’re confident in you're ability to learn new things * You enjoy having responsibility * You’re looking for growth, stability, and a company you can help build * You maintain a professional attitude * You are dependable and arrive to work on time, regularly *Duties* * Assist lead contractor on remodel, repair, and turnover projects * Perform hands-on tasks in carpentry, drywall, painting, light plumbing, and electrical under supervision * Keep job sites and work vehicles clean, organized, and safe * Load, unload, and track materials and tools * Follow instructions and complete tasks on schedule * Communicate respectfully with clients and team members * Support quality control by checking details and flagging issues *Qualifications* * 0–2 years hands-on residential construction experience preferred (but willing to train the right motivated person) * Familiarity with basic hand and power tools (willing to learn proper use and safety if less experienced) * Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail * Professional appearance and demeanor (tattoos okay, except face or offensive) * Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation * Willingness to learn multiple trades, follow safety practices, and grow with the company * English required, Spanish a plus * Able to work independently and follow instructions * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record * Own a truck or cargo van (fuel reimbursed when applicable) *Communications & Technology* * Must be reachable via phone/text throughout the day * Comfortable sending photo updates and using basic digital documentation * Required to download work software apps *Customer Interactions* * Work will be done in occupied homes — professionalism, courtesy, and respect for client property is essential * Friendly, solution-oriented communication style with homeowners and team *What we offer* * Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) * Bonus opportunities based on performance (quality of work, punctuality, no call backs) * PTO/Paid Sick Leave * Room for advancement as company grows * Consistent, full-time work * Respectful, drama-free and supportive work culture * Work attire * Clear growth path into skilled tradesperson and eventually lead roles *Growth Path* As you gain experience, you’ll have the opportunity to: * Take on more complex tasks and responsibilities * Earn higher pay and promotions * Eventually lead projects or a crew as the company grows *Time Off (After 1st year) *- No PTO for part time employees and *first year apprentices* * PTO (vacation): 32 hours/year (frontloaded) * Holidays (paid): 7 major holidays, New Year‘s day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day , Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day * Increase in PTO after 1 year of employment * 40 Hours paid Sick Leave (included in 1st year) * Flexible unpaid days off as needed if scheduling allows (included in 1st year) * Maximum carry over PTO cap 80 hours *How to apply* Please send your resume and a short message describing your experience and why you’re a great fit.
