Our diverse product offering includes data acquisition, email appends, integrated marketing services, production workflows, custom print production, direct mail solutions, fulfillment and complete lettershop, bindery and mailing services.Location: Hillside, ILReports to: PrePress ManagerResponsibilities/Essential Functions:Responsible for producing final press ready PDF pages & proofs for projectsConvert supplied files and or use supplied instructions to create final filesApply trap and print specifications to filesEnsure high resolution images are connected to page layoutsCheck for page bleed, misaligned font type, perform any image/tint merges as neededOutput plates for the offset departmentCompliance with all data integrityFollow all QC measures assigned to the PrePress departmentQualifications:5+ years in prepress - direct mail & marketing industry preferredBachelor's degree preferredMust be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, PitstopKnowledge of Kodak Prinergy, Workshop, PrepsKnowledge of Enfocus Pitstop Pro, Microsoft Excel & WordExcellent attention to detailMust have excellent verbal & written communicationMust be solution orientedExperience handling a variety of pre-press projectsWork Environment/Physical Demands:This job requires you to sit in a cubicle or office, on a computer (1 or more monitors) for the majority of the day.Cutting physical proofs with sharp objectsAssist in maintenance aspects within the departmentMay be required to work extended/evening hours as needed.Ability to walk up & down stairs.Work hours: Start time 1-2PM: End time 9:30-10:30 PM
