Production Supervisor

Making advanced technology ubiquitous means building at scale, and that's exactly what we're doing at Mesh.We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations on our automated production lines. You will own execution and stability on the factory floor, ensuring production cells run safely, efficiently, and on target, while building and managing the technician team that keeps the lines moving.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead daily operations across assigned automated production lines, owning shift execution, line readiness, and production schedule adherenceAct as first-line responder for equipment and process disruptions; troubleshoot SMT, packaging, and automated assembly equipment to restore uptime before escalating systemic or engineering-level issues to Manufacturing EngineeringMonitor and drive uptime, throughput, yield, cycle time, and scrap performance against targets; communicate status clearly to production and engineering leadershipHire, train, and manage a team of production technicians, scaling the team as capacity grows and shift structures evolveEnsure disciplined use of MES and production tracking systems, including accurate data entry, lot traceability, and nonconformance documentationIdentify bottlenecks, workflow inefficiencies, and recurring failure modes; drive floor-level improvements and escalate structural issues with supporting dataMaintain safe, clean, and organized production environments in compliance with company safety standards and operating proceduresSupport new product introduction and production ramp activities, including first-article builds, process validation runs, and shift expansion planningQUALIFICATIONS:3+ years of experience supervising production in automated manufacturing environmentsExperience with SMT lines, packaging equipment, or automated assembly systemsHands-on troubleshooting experience with production equipment, including the ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related line stopsFamiliarity with production metrics (yield, uptime, cycle time, scrap) and a data-informed approach to floor managementFamiliarity with MES systems and production traceability workflowsExperience supporting NPI or production ramp activitiesStrong organizational and communication skills, including clear shift handoff and escalation practicesFlexibility to support production ramp and shift expansion, including off-shift or weekend coverage as neededWillingness to work extended hours and weekends as neededPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Experience hiring, onboarding, and managing production technicians, including performance development and shift schedulingExperience in precision electro-mechanical, semiconductor, or photonic manufacturing environmentsExperience with cleanroom or controlled-environment production operationsFamiliarity with lean manufacturing principles, 5S, or similar continuous improvement frameworksExperience writing or maintaining standard operating procedures and work instructions for production useFamiliarity with equipment preventive maintenance scheduling and spare parts managementCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:Pay range:Production Supervisor: $105,000.00 - $135,000.00/per yearTitle and base salary are determined on a case by case basis commensurate with experience and merit.In addition to base salary, compensation for this role includes:Eligibility for long-term incentives including company stock options and discretionary bonuses awarded for exceptional achievements.Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance with significant cost covered by the company for yourself and dependents.Paid parental leave and flexible PTO (3 weeks accrued vacation and 10 company holidays per year).401(k) retirement plan access.Relocation assistance to sunny Los Angeles.
