About us SAE RON is a new Korean restaurant in the Lower East Side, dedicated to harmoniously blending traditional Korean dishes and drinks with contemporary flavors and technique, creating a comforting fusion of old and new. In preparation for the official opening of the craft soju cocktail bar, we are looking for a strong bar manager to lead the operations. *Overview* We are seeking a skilled Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and possess strong leadership skills to manage a dynamic team. *Duties* - Develop and implement bar policies and procedures - Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs effectively - Train, supervise, and schedule bar staff - Create innovative drink menus and promotions - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations - Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area *Skills* - Proficient in budgeting and financial management - Experience in hospitality, culinary, or food service management - Experience or strong interest in Korean cuisine is a plus - Strong background in the culinary industry with basic understanding of ingredients & flavors - Ability to effectively manage and supervise staff - Skilled in interviewing, hiring, training & disciplining employees Job Type: Full-time Pay: $67,098.00 - $70,982.00 per year Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Shift: Evening shift Night shift Application Question(s): Which method provides the most accurate calculation of your food cost percentage?
