Assembler

Position Title: Assembler Wage: $18.50/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3:00pm - 11:30pm We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly & Soldering Technician to join our manufacturing team in Bartlett, IL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electronic assembly, soldering, and wire preparation while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards. Apply now! Assembler Responsibilities: Perform assembly of electronic and electromechanical components according to work instructions, schematics, and production specifications Solder terminals and electronic components with precision and accuracy Complete lead wire crimping using appropriate tools and techniques Perform PC board (PCB) soldering and component installation Inspect assemblies for quality, functionality, and compliance with specifications Identify and troubleshoot assembly or soldering defects Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all quality standards, production schedules, and company procedures Requirements for Assembler: Previous assembly and soldering experience in a manufacturing or electronics environment Proficiency in soldering terminals, lead wire crimping and PC board (PCB) soldering Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings, and schematics Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to quality and continuous improvement IPC soldering certification or equivalent training preferred Experience with electronic testing and inspection equipment is a plus Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and quality control processes preferred Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Ability to use hand tools and small assembly equipment Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
