You'll be joining a high-performing engineering team building scalable, cloud-native products at the intersection of modern banking and digital assets.This is a fully remote opportunity with a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, autonomy, and technical excellence.Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using PythonDevelop and support cloud-native applications running in AWSBuild and evolve microservices-based systems serving critical customer and financial workflowsDesign and maintain REST APIs and service integrationsImplement event-driven solutions using messaging technologies and asynchronous processingParticipate in architecture discussions and contribute to engineering best practicesImprove reliability, monitoring, observability, and performance across production systemsCollaborate with distributed engineering teams in a fully remote environmentOwn services end-to-end, including development, deployment, monitoring, and incident resolutionContribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and continuous improvement initiativesSkills & Experience Required:4+ years of commercial Software Engineering experienceStrong Python development experienceExperience with FastAPI, Django, or FlaskHands-on AWS experience in production environmentsExperience building and supporting microservices architecturesStrong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systemsExperience with Docker and containerized applicationsExperience with CI/CD and automated testingSolid understanding of PostgreSQL or similar relational databasesExcellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote teamKafka, RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS, or other messaging technologiesEvent-Driven Architecture experienceDomain-Driven Design (DDD)KubernetesFintech, banking, payments, or digital asset experienceProduction support and incident management experienceIf you're passionate about Python, AWS, microservices, distributed systems, and building highly reliable financial products, we'd love to hear from youApply today with your CV.
