PositionWe have an exciting opportunity for an Intern, Quality Engineer to join our Windsor, CT team.The Quality Engineer Intern will support a range of technical responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing production environment. The internship provides a college-level student with practical experience related to his or her major that will enhance and complement classroom learning.ResponsibilitiesAssist in identifying internal and external training needs designed to address competency gapsPartner with internal stakeholders regarding employee training needsDevelop training aids such as manuals and handbooksProvide feedback to program participants and managementEngage in CI events including event brainstorming, organization, and presentationParticipation in First Article and Pre-MRB/MRB documentation/requirementsAssist area leads with identifying and implementing process improvementsQualificationsRising Junior or SeniorMinimum GPA of 3.0Good writing abilitySelf-motivated individual with good interpersonal and team skillsPursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Quality Engineering, Learning Development, or related field.Excellent planning and organizational skillsDemonstrated competency in data gathering and analysis and problem-solving skillsPossesses critical thinking skills with ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentGood interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels in the organizationEmployment Type: Part-Time / HourlyPosition Hourly Range: $22.00 - $25.00
