CNC Machine Setup/Operator

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a CNC Setup/Operator to join the team. This position assist in coordinating and maintain the overall efficient operation of manufacturing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate CNC Lathe Equipment Interaction with control panel Data input keypad Button pushing Opening and closing equipment door Loading steel billets Operating foot pedal Inspecting finished products via the use of various inspection equipment Replacing worn tooling inside the machine tooling Troubleshooting problems Adjusting speeds and feeds Making offsets at control panel to maintain tolerance requirements Documenting inspection results Filling out required paperwork Meeting established run times Working with quality representatives Working with engineering representatives Working with the manufacturing team leaders Set-up CNC Lathe Equipment Obtaining proper paperwork Locating proper tooling Loading tooling into machine Loading G-Code into machine Mounting work holding jaws Boring work holding jaws to part size Dry running set-up to verify tool path Running set-up piece for first piece approval Editing CNC programs Meeting established set-up times Writing up first piece inspection report Inspecting first piece Working with quality representative for first piece approval Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Application Question(s): Must be a US Citizen or Legal Resident of the US due to client contracts Work Location: In person
