School Based Speech Language Pathologist

Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract (Maternity Leave Coverage) Location: Dixon, IL Industry: Education Pay Rate: $45-$50 per hour, based on experience Work Schedule: Full-Time Assignment Dates: August 12, 2026 – November 6, 2026 A school district in Dixon, Illinois is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide full-time maternity leave coverage. This position supports second and third grade students in one school building and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative educational environment. Responsibilities Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments. Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans. Provide direct therapy services and maintain required documentation. Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Support students who utilize AAC devices. Caseload Approximately 40 students Second and third grade students Single school building Students with varying disabilities AAC experience preferred Qualifications Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license. Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required. Clinical Fellows (CFs) will not be considered.
