Day-to-day tasks include greeting customers, answering questions, and providing support to ensure a positive shopping experience. The Assistant helps with stocking shelves, organizing displays, monitoring inventory, and maintaining a clean, orderly store environment. Responsibilities also include operating the cash register, handling payments accurately, and following store policies and procedures. The role involves collaborating with other team members, assisting with deliveries, and supporting basic administrative or back-office tasks as needed.Qualifications Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact courteously and clearly with a diverse range of customers.Basic retail and cashier skills, including handling transactions, managing cash, and using point-of-sale systems.Organizational and time management abilities to restock items, maintain displays, and complete daily tasks efficiently.Attention to detail and reliability in following store procedures, safeguarding inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights during shifts, and to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is helpful but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
