Scheduler-Planner
National Pump Company is a respected leader and customer-focused provider in pumping technology, for the agricultural, municipal, petroleum, mining, and industrial markets. We are seeking a Scheduler/Planner for our Lubbock, TX manufacturing branch.Our Scheduler/Planner is responsible for planning and processing jobs for machine, assembly and coating. Coordinate activities and scheduling of production department with receipts of materials. Review, update and control machine and assembly schedule using Syteline.Essential Responsibilities:Monitor Manufacturing Job status for shortages that would affect orders on assembly and machining schedule.Complete inbound transfers from all sites, properly sourcing to each job / customer order line.Complete requisitions for all purchased material, properly sourcing to each job / customer order line.Work with Production Manager to analyze capacity constraints that may affect future commitments and other similar scheduling/planning considerations and make necessary adjustments in Syteline.Works closely with the Production Manager, Customer Service Manager, and Purchasing, to maintain schedules and ensure materials are here in a timely manner.Handles and completes production packet requirements for each order / job sent to production.Stays informed of developments and changes in production techniques and methods.Compensation and Benefits:Competitive Salary plus Profit SharingGroup Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability)401(k), Company Match, plus Age & ServiceBenefit Days (Vacation, Holidays, Sick)Professional Development & Tuition ReimbursementStock Purchase Program with Company Match Minimum Qualifications (Education, Training, Experience, Skills)High School or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Three to five years of planning and/or scheduling experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling functions, procedures, and standards.Knowledge of quality control standards and systems.Knowledge of ERP system and systems development preferred.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentWork is a manufacturing / office environmentNPC realizes that our success as an organization is dependent upon our people.
