We are currently looking for the next Database Engineer to join our team of experts!What You Will Be DoingDatabase engineering and management activities associated with high volume, multi-format data management servicesDesigns large-scale data management solutions including developing efficient storage, indexing, and access approaches.Updates data enterprise architecture models (if needed) and data abstraction layer to enable access to new data sourcesDesigns and implements indexing strategies for ingested data.Designs and implements storage and indexing strategies across the multiple repositories to provide efficient storage and retrievalSupports design and development of data access APIsRequirementsMust have:Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience OR A PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirementExperience with Postgres, SQL, data modeling, CameoExperience installing application software in an operational environmentExperience with Agile, AWS, RDBMS technology, Elasticsearch, LinuxSecurity+???????TS/SCI w/CI PolyNice To HaveFamiliarity with NoSQL technology (Hadoop and/or EMR)CentOS System AdministrationLinux
