Precision CNC Machine Operator

About the Role As a Precision CNC Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing lifecycle by transforming raw materials into high-precision components. You will leverage your expertise in operating Horizontal and Vertical Mills, as well as CNC and Mill-Turn Lathes, to ensure our production output meets rigorous engineering standards. Responsibilities Configure fixtures, tooling, and attachments to prepare machinery for complex production runs. Collaborate with engineering teams to validate project specifications and optimize design feasibility for manufacturing. Adjust machine parameters, including feed rates and cutting styles, to maximize part accuracy and production efficiency. Monitor active machining processes to proactively identify and resolve potential errors before they impact quality. Maintain optimal machine health by managing cooling systems, warm-up cycles, and routine preventative maintenance. Interpret complex technical drawings and input data into control interfaces to drive precise fabrication. Conduct thorough quality inspections on finished components to ensure strict adherence to design tolerances. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machinery. Proficiency in interpreting technical blueprints and CNC control software. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in tool maintenance and machine upkeep. Preferred Skills Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex machining issues and implement effective solutions. Deep understanding of G-code programming logic. Commitment to maintaining high-precision quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
