Durango Machining Innovations is a locally owned-operated machine shop serving regional and international customers, specialize in high-tolerance precision mill-turn machining of production jobs. We manage individual parts and assemblies, as well as jobs requiring additional vendors such as plating/anodizing, laser engraving, powder coating, sheet-metal, and plastic molding. We provide full in-house quality control, including CMM and first article inspection.

Job Summary
As a Rotational Lining Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining shuttle-style rotational lining machines to apply protective liners inside pipes and fittings. You will ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, basic troubleshooting skills, and adherence to safety and procedural guidelines.
Compensation
$20–$30 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Responsibilities
Operate production equipment according to work instructions and schedules
Prepare, measure, and handle materials used in the production process
Load materials into parts and equipment as required
Monitor equipment during operation to ensure proper processing and consistent quality
Identify and address minor equipment or process issues to maintain efficient workflow
Keep the work area, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and safe
Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance concerns to supervisors
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; technical school or apprenticeship in a related field preferred.
2+ years previous experience with machine operation in a manufacturing/production environment (preferred)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings or work instructions.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to safety, detail and quality standards
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
Comfortable working in a noisy, industrial setting.
