Senior Systems Engineer - TeamWork (TWC) and Cameo

Job DescriptionBAE Systems is looking for a Sr. Systems Engineer experienced in configuring, deploying, and maintaining TeamWork Cloud and Cameo (and associated tools like Cassandra DB) as Application as Code (AaC) to join our visible technical program driving the Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) cloud platform that supports collection, management and analysis of digital engineering information in an architecture that provides seamless digital thread and enables tool interoperability, including data structures suitable for AI applications. The program delivers engineering services for Linux and Windows cloud-based infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, Cloud services, virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflows. Our platform uses a mix of Open Source, Government-off-the-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial off-the-Shelf (COTS) software and targets cloud-native constructs. The environment offers a secure-by-default configuration, implementing an Infrastructure-as-Code approach, and governance policies. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience to recruit and develop top talent and solutions on one of the most complex and high-profile programs within the government customer community.ResponsibilitiesProvide IT technical services and technical expertise in systems, technical infrastructure, tools, modeling, external interfaces, and other technical areasConfigure, deploy and maintain applications such as TeamWork Cloud and Cameo (and associated tools like Cassandra DB) as Application as Code (AaC) using CI/CD pipeline in a cloud-based environmentWork with internal engineering resources as well as customer end-users to design and enhance the user interfaces for supported applications, maintaining responsive designs that accommodate challenging technical and functional requirementsCreate and maintain comprehensive test plans Support operations functions, including root cause identification, remediation and documentation (e.g., user guides, ‘how to’ guides, infrastructure diagrams)Work closely with clients and cross-functional departments on technical issues including software system troubleshooting and maintenance and to communicate project statusesMonitor system performanceTest new features, services and fix bugsConfigure and deploy applications as code in CI/CD pipeline using DevSecOps tools to include Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, IdAM, Active Directory, LDAP resourcesPrepare technical presentations for government and senior leadershipWork effectively in a team environmentWork across infrastructure that contains both Linux (60%) and Windows (40%)Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical, management and customer both written and verballyUtilize robust troubleshooting skillsInstill and apply solid engineering rigor, to include configuration management, testingDevelop/engineer as part of an Agile scrum teamXYZRequired Education, Experience, & SkillsWe are actively seeking candidates with a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field is required.
