Offering cutting edge e-commerce technology, affiliate marketing, and unrivaled expertise in the entertainment industry, TicketNetwork has been providing top-tier, customizable solutions to provide great service to consumers and clients alike.We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer for our Devops team.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To Release ManagementManage and coordinate the end-to-end release process, including scheduling, planning, and execution.Act as the primary point of contact for release-related incidents and ensure timely resolution.Monitor post-release performance and coordinate rollback procedures if needed. CollaborationCollaborate with development, QC, and IT teams to ensure seamless releases.Ensure effective communication between stakeholders, including developers, QC, and business teams CI/CD Pipelines and AutomationDesign, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support efficient release cycles.Implement automation for build, test, and deployment processes. Agile PracticesParticipate in sprint ceremonies such as daily standups (DSUs), grooming sessions, and retrospectives. Version ControlManage version control systems and enforce branching/merging strategies. Configuration ManagementMaintain and enforce configuration management practices for infrastructure and applications. Performance Monitoring and ReportingTrack release progress and generate reports to identify bottlenecks or areas of improvement.Identify opportunities to improve release processes, tools, and methodologies. Change ManagementFollow best practices for change management to minimize risk during deployments. DocumentationMaintain comprehensive documentation for release processes, deployment procedures, and issue tracking.RequirementsMust Have:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience in DevOps, release management, or related roles.Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.Proficiency in version control systems like Git and familiarity with branching strategies.Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., YAML, Python, Bash) for automation tasks.Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation)Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like DataDog and ELK stackExperience with VMWare.Experience with CD tools like Octopus Deploy.Nice To HaveExperience with containerization technologies.Certification(s) in DevOps practices.Understands observability best practices.Familiarity with observability tools like OpenTelemetry.Familiarity with hybrid Cloud environments (on prem/colocation).Familiarity with AWS and Azure.
