Payment Processing Specialist

Job Description:Insight Global is seeking a Payment Processing Specialist for a top financial services client. This individual will support the daily processing of electronic ACH transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with NACHA rules and applicable banking regulations. The role is well-suited for someone who is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and eager to grow within banking operations. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, external banking partners, and clients to resolve transaction issues while helping maintain smooth, reliable payment processing in a fast-paced operations environment. Day-to-Day:Process and balance daily ACH transactions and filesPerform data entry, file maintenance, and transaction processingReview documents and data for accuracy and complianceHandle ACH client disputes and provide client supportConduct Level 1 issue research and resolutionRespond to internal and external phone inquiriesEscalate issues and assist with reporting as neededCoordinate with vendors to resolve system issuesManage daily workflows and ACH processing cut-off timesAssist with special projects such as conversions, releases, or disaster recovery efforts Must-Haves:High School Diploma or equivalentStrong customer service experience with client issue resolutionBasic knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to multitask in a fast-paced operations environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsWillingness and ability to learn and comply with NACHA Rules and banking regulationsComfort with data entry, document review, and clerical/administrative tasksCompensation:$17/hr to $18/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
