Apply via Dice today!L2 SQL Server Database Engineer | Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)We’re looking for an experienced L2 SQL Server Database Engineer to join our team supporting Western Alliance Bank through AgreeYa.📍 Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)⏰ Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM💰 Rate: $50–55/hr🔹 Role OverviewThis role focuses on SQL Server infrastructure support, performance tuning, and high availability solutions in enterprise environments.🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and manage MS SQL Server environmentsPerform patching, upgrades, and DR activitiesTroubleshoot production issues (deadlocks, CPU, memory, I/O)Implement HADR solutions (Always On, Mirroring, Replication)Manage backups and recovery strategiesSupport Azure cloud migration initiatives🔹 Required Skills✔️ 7+ years of SQL Server experience✔️ Strong experience with SQL Server 2016/2017✔️ Expertise in performance tuning & troubleshooting✔️ Hands-on with HADR technologies✔️ Experience with Azure (PaaS/IaaS)🔹 Nice to HaveExperience with large databases (VLDB)Exposure to automation & capacity planning
