Position_ SharePoint and Web applications Support(Programmer 3)Columbus OHLocal Candidate : Face to Face InterviewThe City of Columbus Department of Technology is seeking an experienced technologist to support web and SharePoint applications. Requires excellent communications and documentation skills as well as the ability to interact directly with application users to elicit requirements and support applications. Contract is for 3 months. Work to occur in a flexible hybrid model - generally 3 days in the office per week and 2 days remote.College degree or equivalent technical studyExperience with technical support and projectsUtilize configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and any other environment specific tools necessary to create, test, and implementCode enhancement and development programs and/or required fixes to production problems using the functional and technical programming standardsResearch problems before approaching the Team Lead or Functional Architect for assistance.Work with users to understand business requirements and to ensure that solutions meet business needs.Plan all required process steps.Review and understand the Application Team’s workplan.Provide status of work to Team Lead.Anticipate, identify, track, and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the Application Team. Develop contingency plans as necessary.Engage in ongoing process improvement.Detailed functional and process knowledge.Provide excellent system documentation.Proactively propose changes/updates to solutions.
