Manufacturing | Full-Time | On-Site | Conroe, TXAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to support and strengthen our on-site shipping and logistics operations. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and coordination across daily shipping activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.This position plays a key role in maintaining operational flow, improving execution on the floor, and supporting overall logistics performance.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily shipping and receiving operations across trucks and railCoordinate loading and unloading activities to ensure accuracy and efficiencyVerify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring correct quantity and qualityMaintain accurate shipping records, including returns, pallets, and shipment trackingPrepare and review shipping documentation such as bills of ladingSupport communication between operations, carriers, and internal teamsTrack shipments and ensure alignment with customer orders and delivery timelinesIdentify and resolve discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutionsSupport damage claims and documentation for in-transit issuesMaintain inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and controlsEnsure FIFO compliance throughout production and shipping processesIdentify opportunities to improve safety, quality, cost, and deliveryParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives within logistics operationsWhat We’re Looking ForBasic understanding of warehouse, dock, or logistics operationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentStrong communication skills across teamsCustomer service-oriented mindset (internal and external)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamProblem-solving mindset with ability to troubleshoot issuesProactive and adaptable approachQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience in shipping, receiving, or logistics operations is a plusForklift experience or certification preferredTechnical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with inventory or ERP systems is a plusWhy Join UsHands-on role with direct impact on operationsOpportunity to grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environmentHigh visibility and impact on daily logistics execution
