Job Posting Job Description - Electronics Technician 3A Day in Your Life at MKS:As a Service Support Technician II at MKS Instruments, you will partner with service to evaluate, and repair RF Generators. In this role, you will report to the Service Supervisor. This is a 3rd shift position.You Will Make an Impact By: Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures in RF generators Determines cost-effective resolution to minimize customer downtime Use electronics equipment to test the RF generator to the manufacturing specificationsSkills that You Bring: Associate's degree in electronics from a two-year college, military, or equivalent working experience Ability to read and understand technical documents and procedures Ability to troubleshoot electronic equipment to component level Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Excellent attention to detailPreferred Skills: Oracle data entry Excellent communication, organizational skills Understanding of 6S and Lean methodologyPhysical Demands and Working Conditions: Ability to lift, pull, and push 50 lbs. Ability to work overtime when required. Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of timeCompensation and Benefits:Pay Range: $22 - 37.50 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
