Details Short-term acute care hospital setting (733 staffed beds) operating as a Level III Trauma Center and teaching facility Med/Surg Telemetry unit Patient ratio of 1:5-6 Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00 Every other weekend required Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister campuses No on-call requirements Charting via Epic (experience required) Requirements Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses are not accepted Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Epic EMR experience required SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible for this position Royal blue and white scrubs required Pre-start online modules required (approximately 4–10 hours) RTO is permitted at manager's discretion, with a maximum of 4 days per assignment Only 1 holiday off can be approved per assignment Previously employed staff must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Night shift travelers may extend up to twice before needing to be away for 6 months prior to returning American Traveler Job ID P-687988.
