Details Short-term acute care hospital setting with 733 staffed beds, operating as a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:5-6 Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Every other weekend required Floating within scope may be required, including to sister campus locations No on-call required Charting performed in Epic (experience required) Requirements Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses not accepted Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele RN experience required Proficiency with Epic EMR required SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Royal blue and white scrubs required Pre-employment orientation modules must be completed prior to start date (estimated 4–10 hours) Candidates residing within 50 miles of the main campus are not eligible for this position RTO requests are subject to manager's discretion, with a maximum of 4 days per contract and only 1 holiday that can be approved Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning Travelers on night shift may extend up to twice before being required to be away for 6 months prior to returning First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-689676.
