Location: TexasExperience: 12+ YearsEmployment Type: ContractJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior PL/SQL Developer with 12+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database development, PL/SQL programming, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining complex database solutions, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.Develop and optimize Oracle SQL queries for high-performance applications.Analyze and improve database performance through query tuning and indexing strategies.Develop and support ETL processes and data migration activities.Create and maintain database objects, schemas, and data models.Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in development, testing, and production environments.Perform code reviews, implement best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards.Develop and maintain technical documentation and support release deployments.Work closely with DevOps and application teams during production releases and support activities.Required Skills12+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL Development.Strong expertise in Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.Extensive experience with PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Cursors, and Collections.Strong knowledge of SQL Query Optimization and Performance Tuning.Experience with Data Modeling, Data Migration, and ETL processes.Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, and SQL*Plus.Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.Strong understanding of Database Security, Backup, and Recovery concepts.Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with Oracle Forms and Reports.Knowledge of Oracle APEX.Experience with Python or Java integration with Oracle databases.Exposure to AWS, Azure, or cloud database environments.Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Insurance domains.EducationBachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Nice to Have CertificationsOracle Certified Professional (OCP)Oracle Database SQL Certified AssociateOracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional
