Python ETL Developer

Job Description:Our client is looking for an experienced ETL Developer to support a data integration initiative moving data from DB2 into Oracle Fusion. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL pipelines using Python, with strong data extraction, transformation, and load skills across enterprise systems.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Python-based ETL workflows to extract data from DB2 source systems, transform it per business rules, and load it into Oracle Fusion.Build and optimize Python scripts/pipelines (e.g., using libraries such as pandas, SQLAlchemy, or similar) for reliable, high-performance data movement.Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity throughout the pipeline.Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies, job failures, and performance bottlenecks.Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand data mapping and transformation requirements.Document ETL processes, data flows, and mapping specifications.Support production ETL jobs, monitor scheduled loads, and handle incident resolution as needed.Required Skills & Experience:5–6 years of hands-on ETL development experience.Strong Python skills for building ETL/data pipelines.Strong experience extracting data from DB2.Experience loading/integrating data into Oracle Fusion.Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data mapping, and transformation logic.Strong SQL skills for querying, validation, and troubleshooting.Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Work Authorization: Must be a US Citizen or hold a valid EAD/GC. No candidates requiring visa sponsorship or transfer (H-1B, OPT/CPT, etc.) will be considered.Work Location: Onsite — 4 days per week required.Interview Process: Candidates must be available for a face-to-face interview in the Nashville area (in-person, not remote/video) as part of the selection process.
