Our ~15,000 employees create world-class solutions in communications, 5G, automotive, energy, quantum, aerospace, defense, and semiconductor markets for customers in over 100 countries.The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on Client's campus in Santa Rosa, CA provides high-precision manufacturing solutions that enable the capabilities of Client's industry leading electronic measurement equipment.ResponsibilitiesThis role is a hands on technical leader who partners closely with Operations, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Planning/Supply Chain, and Business IT/OT to translate business demand into measurable improvements in throughput, cycle time, delivery predictability, metrics development, and cost. Responsibilities will include:Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement across a multi-site precision manufacturing network, identifying waste and improving process capability on the shop floorBuild and maintain capacity models and scheduling logic that inform production planning, partnering with Planning/Supply Chain to identify mismatches in capacity and demandDevelop Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that give Operations and leadership real-time visibility into throughput, cycle time, and delivery performanceWork with Business IT/OT to ensure MES and shop floor data systems feed clean, reliable data into reporting and planning toolsLead root cause investigations and structured problem solving efforts, turning findings into standard work and measurable process improvementsDevelop and maintain SharePoint and Confluence pages to document processes, standard work, and operational proceduresSkills:Client is looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for process improvement in a precision manufacturing environment. This position requires an Industrial Engineer with the ability to translate data into insight and insight into action. Must have strong communication skills, the ability to work cross functionally, and comfort working in a fast paced, high mix production environment. Experience with any/all the following is highly desired:Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping)Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and shop floor data systems (Opcenter or similar)Power BI or similar data visualization and reporting toolsProduction scheduling and finite capacity planning (Preactor or similar APS tools)Capacity modeling and machine utilization analysisSQL or database querying for manufacturing data extractionERP systems (Oracle or similar)Statistical analysis and root cause problem solvingTime studies, work standards, and process documentationLeverage AI tools and Snowflake to support data analysis and reportingEducation:Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification a plus.
