If you thrive in fast-paced, technical environments, we encourage you to apply!Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Research & Opportunity IdentificationConduct thorough research on market trends, competitors, and customer needs to pinpoint new chances in commercial aerospace, defense, space systems, and advanced air mobility.Monitor changes in regulations and advancements in technology that could influence company strategy.Assist in crafting market entry strategies for innovative products and services.Business Development & Sales SupportGenerate leads and help qualify potential customers, partners, and vendors.Manage the sales pipeline by organizing meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.Create engaging presentations and capability briefs that effectively communicate our value propositions.Proposal & Contract SupportAssist in developing proposals, RFI/RFP responses, pricing documentation, and contract negotiations.Collaborate with engineering, program management, finance, and legal teams to compile necessary information for bids.Maintain organized records related to proposals, agreements, and ongoing negotiations.Relationship ManagementBuild and sustain strong relationships with key industry players, including OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, integrators, and government agencies.Represent the organization professionally at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.Utilize CRM systems to track customer engagement activities effectively.Strategic Planning & Internal CollaborationProvide insights to business development strategies based on research, client feedback, and market conditions.Facilitate collaboration across departments, including engineering, marketing, operations, and product teams.Contribute to internal reports on sales performance, market insights, and business metrics.Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in business, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, marketing, or a related field.3+ years of experience in business development, sales, consulting, or market analysis (preferably in the aerospace/defense industry).Familiarity with aerospace products, technologies, or regulatory environments is advantageous.Strong analytical, research, and critical-thinking skills.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Proficient with CRM platforms (e.g., Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot).Adept at coordinating across departments and managing multiple priorities.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.Comfortable working with technical matter and engineering teams.A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.Able to adapt to a rapidly evolving industry and competitive landscape.At Axillon, adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in manufacturing locations is mandatory.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
