Job ID : 90467-1 Title: Data Centre Admin Duration: 6+ Months and Possible Extension Location: Santa Clara, CA - 95050 Pay Range: $30 - $40/hr on W2/C2C all Inclusive Introduction: This position is for a Lab Admin role that involves managing and maintaining server and networking equipment. The role is 100% onsite, and local candidates are preferred. Required Skills & Qualifications:Experience in operating system installation including Windows Server, Linux, and Unix.Comprehensive cabling knowledge, including port mapping and understanding different cable types and purposes.Basic hardware troubleshooting skills with logical resolution methods.Ability to rack, cable, and deploy Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment.Must be able to work in the USA without sponsorship.Willingness to learn quickly, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.Prior work experience in a similar industry or with the client. Preferred Skills & Qualifications:Experience with RAID levels.Web server and database installation experience.Experience in MVS System Administration. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Rack, build, cable, configure, and provision servers.Deploy and manage Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment.Troubleshoot and perform quality assurance on server hardware.Resolve hardware issues professionally via trouble ticket system.Lift weights up to 50 lbs and stand for long hours on ladders.Travel as needed.
