Lab Assistant - Lab - Full-Time - Evenings

Job Description:Entry of (and release of) patient demographics, test orders, billing information into a variety of computer systems (EMR/LIS)Follows procedures for the proper evaluation and disposition of laboratory specimens as stated in the Specimen Collection Manual and reference laboratory manuals.Interacts/communicates with all patients, physicians, and coworkers in a respectful and collaborative mannerJob Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma, or equivalentB. Experience: health care or patient billing experience preferred, but not requiredC. Training - 2 - 4 Weeks
