The ideal candidate will have experience in UI, API, and regression automation, CI/CD integration, and Agile development environments.Must Have Technical SkillsStrong hands-on experience with JavaExpertise in Playwright Automation FrameworkStrong experience with Selenium WebDriverTest automation frameworks such as TestNG or JUnitBuild tools: Maven / GradleAPI testing using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar toolsVersion control using GitCI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOpsExperience with BDD frameworks like CucumberSQL knowledge for database validation and testingRoles & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium with Java.Create automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.Develop reusable automation components and utilities.Perform API automation and validation testing.Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira.Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.Ensure test coverage, quality standards, and best practices are followed.Mentor junior automation engineers and conduct code reviews.Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience with Docker and containerized test execution.Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter.Familiarity with microservices architecture.Exposure to AI-assisted test automation tools.ISTQB certification preferred.
