Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to address specific communication or swallowing challenges Provide direct speech therapy services to pediatric patients, including those in early intervention programs and school settings Collaborate with educators, medical professionals, and families to ensure cohesive care strategies Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment approaches as needed for optimal outcomes Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and patient progress in compliance with healthcare standards Educate patients and their families on exercises and strategies to support ongoing communication development Skills Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school or clinical settings Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to communication disorders Skilled in conducting patient assessments and interpreting clinical data accurately Familiarity with early intervention practices and protocols for young children with speech or language delays Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate families Ability to apply evidence-based practices to develop innovative therapy solutions Passion for patient care with a proactive approach to supporting individual needs This role is perfect for dedicated professionals eager to foster meaningful improvements in patients’ lives through expert speech-language therapy.
