Our Patient Access Assistants are the first point of contact for our patients and visitors and perform registration duties within the hospital and clinic. This role requires independent analysis, exercise of judgment and detailed knowledge of facility procedures related to the work performed. You will be responsible for verifying patient and insurance information, scheduling appointments, obtaining and identifying information necessary to produce billable patient accounts and more!Schedule:Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | Northway ClinicDay shift | 8-hour shifts | Monday - FridayHours between 6:45am-5pmNo weekends or holidaysPay and Benefits:Starting pay begins at $18.28 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experiencePay range: $17.00 - $25.54 per hourTuition reimbursement and college grant programs availableFull-time benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year clerical, administrative, or customer service experience; OR 1 year of prior scheduling, billing, patient access, accounts receivable and/or collections experienceCustomer service skills are essentialGood verbal and written communications skills required.CentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
