As a General Contractor, the Foreman/ Superintendent is responsible for directing and coordinating activity associated with the construction of the project in accordance with established schedules, budgets, plans, specifications and procedures. A successful candidate will lead by example, motivate crew members and efficiently manage the job.Please note that this position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with Kinsley Construction policies and procedures.TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSEffectively Lead and manage Kinsley's self-perform crews through a hands-on approach.Successfully manage and schedule subcontractorsInterpret blueprints, project plans, and specificationsPlan, schedule and utilize necessary manpower, tools, materials and equipment needed to complete the jobReceive material deliveries and maintain on-site inventoryResponsible for completing daily time sheets and maintaining daily logsUse tools and operate equipment in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures when necessaryComprehend and follow blueprints and specifications to meet needs of the project.Perform other related duties as necessary.REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 5 years of field leadership experienceDemonstrate a working knowledge of all aspects of building constructionPerform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials.Ability to read and follow construction site drawings, blueprints, diagrams and specifications is preferredValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as requiredAbility to pass a drug and alcohol test and a DOT physical.HOW TO APPLYIf you are interested in a position at Kinsley Construction, please apply on our website at https://careers.kinsleyconstruction.com/ or mail, fax, or email a resume including salary requirements to:KINSLEY CONSTRUCTION, LLC.PO BOX 2886YORK PA 17405717-815-6909 (Fax)careers@kinsleyconstruction.com
