Network Systems Administrator
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Network System Administrator (NSA) - I to join our team in El Segundo, CA.You will provide day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities supporting SSC Directorates and/or AFSPC Operational Units in a full-time, on-site environment.ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, audit, and support a secure MS Windows network environment and limited web/data application services.Maintain internet applications and protocols including IP, TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and SSL.Maintain file servers, firewalls, network access, Security Monitoring Systems, and system documentation.Interface directly with local customers to provide technical IT support and quickly resolve system anomalies.Perform periodic maintenance, hardware upgrades, replacement, firmware updates, and system configuration changes.Manage data backup libraries, conduct scheduled tape backups, and maintain secure storage both on-site and off-site.Attend planning meetings with IT staff, Program Managers, and customers to prepare systems for operational use and support testing.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.1+ years of total relevant IT experienceMust meet DoD Directive 8570.01-M/8140 IAT Level II certification requirements (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA, CySA+, CND) within 6 months of hire.Possess applicable Windows professional certifications based on operating system requirements for the supported organization.Preferred Qualifications1 year of SCI or SAP experience highly desired.Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, and Windows client operating systems and associated hardware.Working knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, data backup systems, and COMSEC integration.Working knowledge of JAFAN 6/0, DCID/JAFAN standards, ICDs, and Joint DODIIS/Cryptologic SCI Information Systems Security Standards.Experience with PL1 through PL4 systems and cross-domain solutions.Strong ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with DoD, military, civilian, and industry partners.Clearance RequirementsCurrent Top-Secret Clearance with SCI EligibilityMust be eligible for access to Special Access Programs (SAP).Must be willing to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.Physical RequirementsRequires travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR), which may include both air and ground transportation.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time in closed-area offices.Must be able to move about inside and outside the office to access files, cabinets, safes, and install or remove computer-related equipment.
