Assistant Project Manager Purpose: The Assistant Project Manager is responsible and accountable for assisting the project manager with collecting the data needed to run each project effectively. Reports to: Project Manager Job Duties: Project Scheduling: Collecting data needed to initialize scheduling and baseline breakdown into scheduling format. Will be limited to standard uniform tasking along time frames and sequencing based on recent-actual project metrics. Once the PM establishes the actual, detailed project schedule, perform routine schedule updates as directed by the PM. Also update the integrated project schedule for all projects. Baseline Update Adapt Budget Tracking: Assisting and getting all data collected to monitor the status of the project to update the project estimate. Rentals, Man hour roll-outs per Project All job-related cost Cash flow – Draft Payment Applications Purchase order log Change order log Previous job cost date to Estimators Customer Service and Support: Assisting with meeting the needs of the customer or exceeding the customers expected experience. Communication Service Log-Updates Quality Control: Assisting with identifying the cause of poor process or product quality and recommending and/or taking action to eliminate them. Establish the policies, procedures, and documentation for planning, developing, managing, executing and controlling the project. Contract Review: Assisting with collecting all data for scope developments. Develop scope Specification Review: Assisting with assuring that project requirements desired by the client are met or exceeded. Documentation Submittal logs, and Submittals RFI with log RFQ with log Addendums with log Daily Management of the Job Site and Sub-Contractors in PM’s absence. Defining Scope of work Sub-Contractors – Initial contact, solicit and collect quotes for work to be performed during the project. Requirements: Proven working experience in construction project management Ability to plan and see the “BIG PICTURE” Possesses above average communication skills both written and oral Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Project management software Self-motivated and self-directed Team Oriented Job Type: Full-time Pay: $38,553.54 - $46,430.06 per year Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: Salix, PA 15952: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
