Full Stack Software Engineer

Role Summary: Catalyst Operations & Analytics is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with strong Python, React, and Javascript experience and a builder’s mindset to join our fast-moving technical team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, execution focused environment and wants to work on real-world problems. Due to customer requirements, U.S. citizenship is required. We’re seeking skilled professionals who thrive on solving complex challenges and making an impact where it matters most. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend systems and APIs using Python (FastAPI, Flask). Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, React) Design scalable microservices and containerized architectures to support AI pipelines. (Docker) Integrate search, database, and queuing technologies (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Redis). Own backend performance, monitoring, and security. Collaborate with team members to deploy full-stack solutions. Required Skills and Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship required 1-3 years of applicable experience Proficiency with Python Proficiency with FastAPI, Flask, or Django Proficiency with React, Javascript, or any other Frameworks Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, especially working with models or pipelines Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with asynchronous programming Strong SQL, Elasticsearch skills Experience with containerized deployments (Docker) Clear communication and a team-first mindset Additional Requirements: The role requires presence onsite at the headquarters in Vienna, VA, three days a week. Responsibilities include collaborating directly with the technical team, necessitating presence in the office.
