Our team is growing fast, and we're looking for people who want to grow with us.If you know bulk, and you know how to build a carrier book that sticks, we want to talk.The RoleAs a Bulk Carrier Sales Representative, you'll own and grow carrier relationships across our bulk freight lanes. This isn't general freight — you'll be working with tankers, pneumatics, hoppers, and end dumps. You'll negotiate rates, secure capacity in tight markets, and become the go-to person carriers want to run loads for. You'll also work closely with our operations and customer teams to make sure every load moves safely, on time, and at the right price.What You'll Be DoingBuilding and managing a book of bulk carriers (tanker, pneumatic, hopper, end dump, belly dump)Sourcing and negotiating capacity for dry bulk, liquid bulk, and specialty commodity shipmentsDeveloping long-term carrier relationships that drive consistent coverage and competitive pricingMonitoring bulk freight markets and adjusting strategy based on seasonal demand, commodity cycles, and regional capacity shiftsCoordinating with operations on load-specific requirements — hazmat compliance, product-specific equipment specs, loading/unloading proceduresUsing our TMS and load boards to identify, vet, and onboard qualified bulk carriersHitting daily and weekly KPIs around coverage ratios, margin targets, and carrier retentionWhat We're Looking For1+ years of experience in carrier sales, with direct bulk freight experience strongly preferredFamiliarity with bulk equipment types (tankers, pneumatics, hoppers, end dumps) and the commodities they haulUnderstanding of bulk-specific requirements: washouts, heel loads, hazmat endorsements, product contamination protocolsProven ability to build a carrier book and maintain high reuse ratesSelf-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environmentStrong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skillsExperience with TMS platforms and load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.)Bachelor's degree preferred but not required — bulk experience matters moreCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary + uncapped commissionHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPTO and paid holidaysA team that actually likes working together
