Graphic Design & Printing Specialist

BrightKey is seeking an experienced Graphic Design & Printing Specialist in the Washington, DC area! The Graphic Design & Printing Specialist supports a large organization by delivering high-quality visual design and print production services. This role combines creative design expertise with hands-on operation of high-volume print and copy equipment. The specialist will create and maintain a wide range of visual materials—from print collateral and signage to web graphics—while ensuring production quality, brand consistency, and timely delivery.Key Information:On-Site, First shift, Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00am-5:00pmLocation: Washington, DC Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 annuallyRequired Skills & Experience:3–5 years of professional graphic design experience, including advanced use of Adobe Photoshop for creating and editing graphicsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including:PhotoshopIllustratorInDesignAcrobatExperience with Microsoft Access Database and Dreamweaver in preferredExperience operating high-volume print and copy equipment in a production or print shop environmentKey Responsibilities:Graphic DesignDesign and produce visual materials including training guides, office signage, presentations, reports, and interactive exhibitsCreate and edit graphics for digital platforms, including webpages and internal communicationsCollaborate with stakeholders to translate concepts and requirements into effective visual solutionsEnsure brand standards, accessibility guidelines, and visual consistency across all materialsPrepare final files for both print and digital distributionConverting print materials to Web-ready formattingPrinting & ProductionOperate and maintain high-volume print and copy machineryManage print jobs from intake through finishing (e.g., binding, cutting, tabbing, and packaging)Monitor print quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and coordinate service when neededMaintain inventory of paper, toner, and print suppliesPrioritize and manage multiple production requests to meet deadlinesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentDegree in Graphic Design or related field preferredA minimum of 3 years or related experienceMust be able to obtain a DOJ Public Trust clearance; US Citizenship requiredCandidates must have or be able to obtain a SECURITY CLEARANCE (Public Trust)BrightKey is dedicated to being an organization where all employees are treated with dignity and respect.
