Travel Journeyman Electrician
We are hiring a Travel Electrician - (Controls, Licensed) for heavy commercial and industrial UPS and generator replacement projects across the Midwest, operating out of Lowell, AR. This is a sustained deployment role requiring travel for weeks to months at a time with no fixed rotation schedule. The ideal Travel Electrician - (Controls, Licensed) is JM licensed, experienced with UPS systems, conduit, and termination work, and ready to operate a company fleet vehicle on any shift.What We Offer$32-$42 per hour based on experience and licensure; targeting 60 hours per week on active projectsHotel accommodations covered for the duration of each deployment$45 per day per diem for meals and incidentals while deployedCompany-provided fleet van issued from Lowell, AR upon arrival and onboardingOpportunity to work on large-scale commercial and industrial electrical projects across the MidwestKey Responsibilities - Travel Journeyman ElectricianInstall, remove, and replace UPS systems and generators at large distribution centers and commercial facilitiesRun and bend conduit from 3/4" to 4" EMT and rigid; pull wire through 2-4 inch pull fieldsTerminate conductors and complete commercial and industrial wiring systems from 24V DC to 480V ACRead blueprints, one-lines, and schematics to coordinate work within multi-tech teams of 2-4 electricians and apprenticesAdapt to day or night shift schedules as dictated by project requirements and site accessQualifications - Travel Journeyman ElectricianCurrent Journeyman Electrician license required; proof of licensure must be provided upon offerValid driver's license with a clean MVR; must be 21 or older to operate a company fleet vehicleDemonstrated experience with UPS systems and commercial or industrial generator installationsProficiency in EMT and rigid conduit work, wire pulling, and termination across commercial and industrial applicationsMust be willing and able to deploy for weeks to months at a time with no fixed return schedule and no regular obligations requiring time at homePreferred Qualifications - Traveling Commercial ElectricianOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationNFPA 70E electrical safety training (not required but strongly preferred)Experience operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, or bucket liftsKnowledge of industrial controls, PLCs, or automation systemsRigid conduit bending and installation experience beyond standard EMTPhysical Requirements - Travel Journeyman ElectricianSustained travel deployment required; candidates must self-transport to Lowell, AR at their own expense to begin assignment and receive company vehicleAbility to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for up to 12 hours per shift, including overnight shiftsLift and carry tools, wire, and conduit materials up to 50 lbs routinelyWork in active commercial and industrial environments including large distribution facilities and retail-level sitesOperate aerial lift equipment and work at heights as required by project scope
