Housekeeper
Housekeeper The Housekeeper is responsible for the sanitation and cleaning of assigned apartments, common areas, the Health Center, and Cottages. This position may be assigned to laundry services or other EVS areas as needed and is expected to maintain flexibility in supporting all EVS assignments to accommodate business needs. Job Duties: Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting all cleared, flat surfaces. Performs general housekeeping duties of common areas as directed by supervisor. Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor. Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition. Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned. Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. Maintains resident confidentiality at all times. Cross-trains in all EVS assignments, including laundry and cottages. All positions are expected to assist in all departmental assignments needed to accommodate business needs. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Ability to understand, communicate effectively, and follow instructions in English is required. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
