We don’t cut corners — we bring beautiful baked goods to communities across the globe with care, integrity, and consistency. —— The Role We’re looking for a skilled Dough Shaper / Artisan Bread Baker to join our early-morning production team. This role is ideal for someone who loves the rhythm of the bakehouse and takes pride in perfecting every detail — from shaping baguettes and scoring country loaves to finishing maple syrup bread before the bakery opens. You’ll bring the hard work of the entire team to life, creating beautiful, consistent bread our customers can’t wait to take home. ⸻ What You’ll Do Hand-shape and prepare a variety of breads including baguettes, boules, batards, croissants, and specialty loaves Bake off morning bread production according to recipes and standards Apply finishing touches such as glazing, egg washes, or ganache garnishes Monitor proofing and baking times to ensure consistent quality Assist with scaling, mixing, and feeding levain as needed Maintain a clean and organized workstation Work efficiently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, early-morning environment ⸻ Requirements Previous professional bread baking or dough shaping experience preferred Strong knowledge of artisan bread techniques (hand shaping, scoring, and fermentation) Comfortable working early mornings (3:00 AM start time) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods Detail-oriented, reliable, and team-focused Passion for baking and craftsmanship ⸻ Why Work With Us Competitive pay based on experience ($21/hour + tips) Employee discounts on baked goods and café items Supportive, creative, and tight-knit bakery team Opportunities to develop your artisan baking skills and advance within BA as we expand across the U.S. ⸻ Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour Work Location: In person
