Fund Accountant | Private Equity | West Palm Beach, FLI’m working on a confidential Fund Accountant opportunity with a growing middle-market private equity firm based in West Palm Beach, FL.This is a great opportunity for someone with 2 to 5 years of public accounting, audit, or fund administration experience who is looking to move in-house with an investment firm. The role will sit on a lean finance team and offer direct exposure to senior leadership across fund accounting, investor reporting, operations, tax, valuations, and portfolio company reporting.Responsibilities:Assist with accounting and operational functions across private equity fundsWork closely with the Controller and broader finance team on quarterly reportingPartner with external fund administrators on financial statements and investor reportingSupport year-end audit process for multiple fundsAssist with capital calls, distributions, and investor noticesCoordinate with outsourced service providers, including fund administration and tax teamsSupport cash management, fund activity, and investment performance trackingAssist with tax reporting, including K-1 coordinationSupport GP and management company accountingParticipate in portfolio valuation and portfolio company reporting processesAssist with ad-hoc investor, compliance, and internal reporting requestsQualifications:2 to 5 years of audit, public accounting, or fund administration experiencePrivate equity, hedge fund, venture capital, or broader alternatives exposure preferredCPA or CPA track preferredBachelor’s or Master’s degree in AccountingStrong Excel and Microsoft Office skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a lean, fast-paced environmentThis is a strong opportunity for someone looking to join a growing private equity firm and gain broad exposure across fund accounting and finance.
