SUMMARYThe Copywriter (paired with an Art Director partner) will concept and execute unexpected, insightful, and compelling brand ideas, actions, campaigns, and communications that meet and exceed our clients’ business objectives.The right individual for this role will have an exceptional portfolio of work that displays superior conceptual problem-solving skills, strong headlines, well-written copy, and the ability to produce integrated creative across a variety of tactical applications.At Cactus, we value your personality and character just as much as your work, so to join our team you’ll need to be someone who is unwaveringly collaborative, tenaciously solution-oriented, and contagiously optimistic – someone who embraces big challenges and strives to turn every project into something great. We’re also currently looking for an Art Director, so if you have a creative partner or a friend who you’d like Cactus to consider for that role, please share our Art Director job post with them.SALARY$75,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experienceThis is a Denver based role with a hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days WFH schedule.RESPONSIBILITIES·  Develop fearless, un-ignorable creative concepts that help solve our clients’ business problems.·  Effectively apply creative solutions to a wide range of tactics, including video ideas and scripts; digital advertising (banners, paid social video and static, rich media, etc.); print ads, poster and outdoor; events, activations, and non-traditional tactics; logo design and branding, packaging, collateral systems; printing technology and art; digital interfaces (web, app, etc.); UI and UX design; etc.·  Apply strategic insights in ways that solve assignments with creative ingenuity·  Prepare work for internal presentations, client presentations, and presentations to vendors for production·  Present and sell outstanding creative work to clients·  Lead and guide the copywriting and storyline aspects for assigned projects·  Apply feedback with thoughtfulness, creativity, and intelligence·  Work closely and cross-departmentally with all other Cacti through all the phases of a project·  Work with internal teams to manage all vendors, freelancers, and artists·  Simultaneously accomplish multiple complex assignments with overlapping timelines, never sacrificing quality or commitment to excellenceREQUIREMENTS· 3-6 years of experience as a creative copywriter within an advertising agency setting is required·  Portfolio and reel that demonstrate the talent, judgment, imagination, and ability to generate consistently outstanding creative concepts, campaigns, copy solutions, and other communications ideas for a variety of brands·  Schooling in creative advertising and conceptual development (advertising degree preferred, but not required)·  Writing experience across several forms of media·  Knowledge of the mechanics of writing and grammar: punctuation, spelling, structure, and content organization·  A flexible approach and willingness to adapt your ideas to the needs of clients·  A passion for advertising, creativity, and commercial art·  The resilience to perform under pressure and deliver high-quality work amidst tight deadlines·  Excellent communication skills, both written and oral·  Consistently optimistic and solution-oriented team player·  Strong problem-solving skills·  Detail-oriented
