Instructional Designer (Irwindale)

Role Title: Instructional Designer / Training Program SpecialistDuration: 12+ monthsWork Location: Irwindale, CA 91702 (Hybrid)Instructional Designer / Training Program SpecialistOverview:We are seeking a skilled and dynamic professional with the demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical and non-technical information in a clear and engaging manner. This role is responsible for coordinating, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that support organizational learning and performance objectives.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate all phases of learning program delivery, including needs assessment, design, development, pilot testing, implementation, and evaluation.Collaborate effectively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and senior stakeholders to gather requirements, validate content, and ensure alignment with business goals.Design and develop blended learning solutions utilizing various authoring tools and technologies, such as e-learning platforms, multimedia design tools, and virtual training applications (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate suite, or equivalent tools).Provide operational, administrative, and logistical support for training initiatives and learning functions.Develop, organize, and edit training materials, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with organizational standards, including security and corporate policies.Apply job task analysis methodologies to create targeted training content and performance-based assessments.Leverage learning technologies to enable rapid content development and scalable training delivery.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong stakeholder communication and relationship management.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or training delivery.Strong project management and organizational skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and modern learning technologies.Experience designing and developing apprenticeship or craft training programs, including structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) components.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into user-friendly learning materials.Preferred Skills:Experience working with blended or digital learning environments.Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and web conferencing platforms.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards across training deliverables.
