Medical Assistant/EMT/Phlebotomist-- Full-Time (30-32 hours) or Part-time (less than 30 hours)

We are a small and friendly private Allergy practice seeking a Medical Assistant/EMT/Phlebotomist for a 30-32 hour/week full-time position (Monday-Thursday). We can modify this position to Part-time based on applicants needs. Benefits are included only for the Full-time hours of 30-32. Certification is preferred, but not required. A minimum of 1 year experience in the medical field with direct patient care is preferred; however, we are willing to provide on-the-job training for the right candidate who shows strong potential for acquiring new healthcare skills, regardless of experience. Job duties include rooming patients, performing allergy skin-testing, administering pulmonary function tests and allergy injections, stocking/cleaning exam rooms, faxing/calling in prescriptions, filing, and front-office duties one half-day per week (consisting of confirmation calls, checking-in/scheduling patients, chart prep, answering multi-line phone calls, etc.). Candidates must be comfortable and capable in multi-tasking, working efficiently, and effectively managing back-office flow.
