Specifically, we are looking to hire individuals with a trauma-informed approach and are or are interested in becoming EMDR trained. We have options to provide EMDR training at no cost to our counselors.ResponsibilitiesFree supervision toward Licensure (LPC, LCSW, or CSAC). Free EMDR training provided by organization Ample training opportunities. Supportive network of supervisors and colleagues. Opportunities for growth. Options to pursue additional certifications at no cost, such as EMDR, CSAC, and more!QualificationsMust possess a Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work. Must be registered as Licensed or Licensed Eligible from the Virginia Department of Health Professions (DHP). Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults in a mental health capacity. Must have a valid Driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to pass all child protective services, criminal history and DMV background checks. Be a self-starter with good organizational and time management skills. Must have positive, hopeful and professional attitude.Required Skills1 year of professional experience working with individuals with a mental health diagnosis (Required).Preferred Skills1 year of professional experience in an outpatient counseling setting (Preferred).Pay range and compensation packageCompetitive pay (based on qualifications).
