Klüber Lubrication NA LP
The Kitting Associate will support all functions in the warehouse. The focus is on Raw Material preparation and Inventory maintenance. They perform movements (both physical and systemic) of materials in and out of the raw material warehouse to the Production room. In addition, this individual will ensure timely preparation of materials to support the needs of the production schedule which meets our customers’ needs.
Kitting Associate
Responsibilities
Support the flow of material to and from the raw material warehouse
Ensure coordination of materials with production schedule to meet production deadlines.
Pick, prepare, weigh and label the raw materials for production with high level of detail and with correct use of PPE
Responsible for taking samples for the lab
Supporting the removal of raw materials received
Complete transactions in SAP as required by cycle counts or when transferring stock in inventory
Responsible for the unloading of tankers in collaboration with lab personnel
Qualifications
1 - 3 years warehouse/distribution experience in a manufacturing/production environment
PC skills including Microsoft office, and RF scanner experience.
SAP Experience preferred
Minimum of 6 months Forklift experience- a plus
Attention to detail and solid math skills
Requires wearing a respirator 15% of time
Able to lift and maneuver up to 55 lbs. on a regular basis
