This role involves working on a wide variety of aircraft components in a non-production, hands-on setting. Unlike assembly-line environments, this position requires versatility and the ability to perform multiple repair techniques across different structures and materials.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components in a repair station environmentDisassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble components to meet regulatory and quality standardsWork with a variety of materials and techniques including riveting, bonding, metal forming, and composite repairsUtilize standard and specialized tools such as drills, sanders, rivet guns, and other aviation equipmentInterpret technical manuals, work orders, and repair documentationEnsure all work is completed in compliance with FAA and company standardsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentCollaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accuratelyQualificationsFAA A&P Certification requiredExperience in airframe and composite repair environmentsBackground in regional aviation or repair station (Part 145) environments preferredAbility to perform a wide range of mechanical and structural repair tasksStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust have basic personal tool kitCompensation & Work EnvironmentCompetitive hourly pay based on experienceClimate-controlled facilityOpportunity to work on diverse repair projects (not assembly line work)Growth and advancement opportunities within the organization
