Network Engineer L2 with Security Clearance

Jovian Concepts, LLC is looking to hire ax26 Network Engineer Level 2 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction area.x26 x26 A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph from the MD Customer is required. No CCAx27s will be accepted at this time. The ideal candidate will perform network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks. Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents. Performs general LAN/CAN/WAN administration. Schedules conversions and cutovers. Coordinates with all responsible users and sites to resolve network or system incidents. Translates business requirements into telecommunications (e.g., LAN, CAN, WAN, Voice and Video) requirements, designs and orders. Performs engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives in support of strategic modernization efforts and telecommunications enhancement design for medium and large-scale telecommunication infrastructures. Assists telecommunications end users, telecommunications operations personnel, and telecommunications strategic program management with network interfaces. Requirements Position Requirements: * A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph from the MD Customer is required. No CCAx27s will be accepted at this time. * The ideal candidate for this position must have significant Cisco and Arista Configuration and sustainment experience. Familiar with Latte 'Art and supporting STE/STN and SSP compliance for those devices. Experience with Firewalls. * Required to travel and be on-call for operational systems support as needed.x26 Qualifications: * Ax26 Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.x26 Six (6) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support and trainingx26 commensuratex26 with network engineering curriculum.x26 x26 * In lieu of ax26 Master'sx26 degree, ax26 Bachelor'sx26 degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline and anx26 additionalx26 two (2) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support for a total of eight (8) years.x26 * In lieu of ax26 Master's or Bachelor's degree an additional six (6)x26 years experiencex26 providing Network Engineering support and a Certification in an industry standard (Arista Configuration Essentials, Cisco Certified Network Associate, or Juniper Certification Tracks (Automation x26amp; DevOps, Cloud, Data Center, Design, Enterprise Routing and Switching, Junos Security, Service Provider Routing and Switching)) may be substituted for a total of 12 years. * An Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level II baseline certification as definedx26 by DoD 8570.01-M isx26 required.x26 In a recent employee survey, Jovian Concepts earned a 92% Overall Workplace Experience Score and 100% of employees agreed that they would highly recommend working at Jovian Concepts to others.
