Group Leader or Teacher Assistant

We're looking to fill one childcare spot-either as an energetic Group Leader or a superstar Teacher Assistant, depending on your experience and skills! In this role, you'll get to nurture, guide, and play with children in our daycare, all while showing off your positive teaching style and lending a helping hand with fun classroom activities.Experience and Job Skills Required:Personal relationship with Jesus ChristGroup Leader level: ECE Group Leader Certificate required; daycare or preschool experience preferredTeacher Assistant level: No certification requiredAble to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods of timeAble to move freely throughout the shift (bending, kneeling, squatting, etc.)Comfortable learning basic software applications (Group Leader level)Functions and Responsibilities:Lead or assist with daily classroom activities, including academics, Bible lessons, play, and arts & craftsSupervise and assist children throughout the dayParticipate in staff meetings and trainingsAssist with cleaning and food handlingOther duties as assignedEssential Attributes:Loves childrenPositive, dependable, and team-orientedExercises good judgment and maintains confidentialityShares our core values: Love God, Love Others, Pursue Excellence, Choose Joy, Love This Ministry
